Mary has been providing English sessions for my daughter for over a year now and I am delighted with the way she has been able to engage her. My daughter has some learning difficulties and Mary is experienced with teaching children with SEN and helping them to engage. Mary sets clear expectations for my daughter and stretches her but is understanding about her challenges and is encouraging and friendly in her approach. This has meant that my daughter trusts Mary and is able to work on areas of learning that she has missed or needs to practice. Mary is open to listening to my concerns and insight about my daughter's learning and can adapt her teaching to compliment the areas of curriculum that school are working on. My daughter is always willing to have her English session, which is testimony to Mary's skills, ability to connect and her kindness that shines through.

Kirsty is such an amazing tutor, I’ve been working with her for several months and my English literature grade has improved. She is such a lovely lady who makes me feel very comfortable and supported with online learning. She is very accommodating and extremely helpful whenever it comes to any work or questions I have. Kirsty is a wonderful tutor who makes the sessions fly by. She is incredibly skilled at finding ways to make information stick, and every session is worthwhile as you leave with something newly learnt, or having a better understanding! Kirsty has personally helped me with gaining extra knowledge to bump up my grades and make my writing better, and is generally a wonderful tutor.

I find our sessions super helpful, feeling like I gain more in an hour a week than I do in multiple hours with my teachers . The results have showed too, as I’ve gone up 2 grades already and I haven’t reached my full exams yet. I’d strongly recommend Kirsty!

I cannot recommend Mary more highly, she has been a truly wonderful support to my son William throughout the last year of his GCSE English study. With Mary's help his grade improved from a 3 to just under a 6 in his mock, so we are crossing all our fingers for a good result this summer. He really enjoyed his lessons and expressed to me how helpful they were and his confidence in the subject significantly improved. His school English teacher remarked on his significant improvement, which I feel was all down to Mary's expert help. Mary was always totally reliable, punctual and accommodating and she even changed the time and days of the lesson when in the exam period to fit around his exams which was fantastic.
